Reclaim Your Body: Day 15

by | Oct 23, 2019

Today was long. We bussed 8 hours from Pokhara to Kathmandu and ended up in a traffic jam whilst sitting on an un-airconditioned bus. This is par for the course in Nepal as the roads are very poor and there are few traffic rules.

Cars, busses and motorcycles all pass one another and many times end up in a three-across format.

There are no stop lights so drivers make their own rules.

Inside the vehicles, you never know what you might find….goats, chickens or just an overload of people.

Nevertheless, we made it safely back and hiked from a bus stop to our hotel in town.

Tomorrow we will visit Bhaktapur and Nagarkot, two ancient villages on the outskirts of Kathmandu.

We depart for the US on Thursday night and arrive on Friday night.
